Molly Young, MSN, RN, ACNP - BC

Chief Nursing Officer
As Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Young is the lead nursing staff member for Sereno. Her multi-faceted role includes assessing and educating patients, and managing and training nursing staff. Ms. Young also has a central role in assuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care and that it occurs in a patient focused environment.

Ms. Young graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and obtained her Master of Science with honors from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. A Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) and Registered Nurse (RN), she is experienced in advanced life support, trauma, and critical care. She has served as both a nurse and nursing supervisor at Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area – a hospital that is nationally recognized for managing the care of medically complex, ventilator dependant patients.

Ms. Young has worked closely with patients requiring complex assessment and intervention on the Medical, Surgical and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Coronary Care Unit at Stanford Hospital.

Ms. Young has particular passion for and expertise in airway management and respiratory care. Whether assessing a patient’s condition, recommending a course of treatment or helping patients understand their individualized treatment plan, Ms. Young brings a breadth of expertise that is invaluable to your experience at Sereno.
